a) Once Upon a Time in Hollywood is a 2019 American comedy-drama film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. I went to see this film with my friends because of fuss it made on social media, but it ended up being rather boring for me. The whole cinematic picture and aesthetic seemed to be tantalizing and and memorable, but the plot chrohographically was put in random fashion.
b)This is the one of the most fantastic movies, I’ve enjoyed everything I’ve seen. All Quiet On The Western Front, a powerful piece of work, of acting, of sound, of production, of design even though I needed a pack of tissues and a hug after watching it.
c) Suspiria (2018). The film is a re-imagining of the 1977 Italian horror classic of the same name. The plot of the film revolves around a young American dancer named Susie Bannion. The film features a cast of talented actors and boasts stunning cinematography, as well as a haunting score by Radiohead’s Thom Yorke. While it deviates significantly from the original Suspiria, the 2018 film is a visually stunning and haunting reimagining of the classic horror story. I watched it with two of my classmates that were left speechless after the climax that was bloody unexpected. Despite their unfavorable feedback, I left copletely enamored with colors, music and finale.
d) At first, I sat down and tried to explain discrepancies of movie preferences to myself. To be precise, I am strongly sure that we like movies that reflect our life experience.
